item features a base of high-quality  leather tanned. The leather is then further tanned with several vegetable tannins, including mimosa, and oils, resulting in a supple texture not found in typical steer leather. This exceptionally flexible base is then dyed for a finished product. Even after shrinkage treatment, the leather remains incredibly soft to the touch. The black color achieved through dyeing, combined with the leather’s abundant oil content, creates a rich, deep black color. In addition to the soft, lightweight feel of the leather, the leather is also thinner than usual, at 0.6mm thick. This creates a simple, elegant silhouette without any bulk or stiffness, even on a fishtail parka (mod parka) featuring drop shoulders designed for an over-fitting fit.

This all-leather fishtail parka is a classic for the Fall/Winter season. Based on the “M-51,” this oversized silhouette features a newly constructed pattern, incorporating distinctive details like a fishtail (swallowtail-shaped split at the back hem) with a sewn-in leather drawcord, a fly front, and hand pocket flaps. While simple, the zippered pocket on the left chest and the leather patch on the right chest add a bold touch. The luxurious, single-piece construction of the large leather body with no horizontal seams maximizes the rich leather finish achieved through the garment dyeing process. The hood can be easily removed and attached via a zipper. The rayon lining allows for easy slip-on and slip-on, and the elements are meticulously polished for a smooth zipper closure, creating a subtle yet flattering look.
